FINAL BLOG

When I started this course, I thought that was about created a new business. When I reviewed the Syllabus I understood that was more about develop our skills and abilities to be good entrepreneurs, not only about business so, about our lives. These course was awesome let me understand a lot about my skills, my projection and what I want in my life. To the same time taught me about the importance of balance in life, how our family all the time is in risk when we forget them looking for a project or dream, taught me that we need standards and limits in our path that let us be prepared to not change while we are building our dreams. These course tell us including about resting, how is a lot important, when we are building a enterprise, or we are in a important job we work a lot and forget our family, our health, our resting, and ourselves, we need balance in our lives. I think this course is a great opportunity to learn of other entrepreneurs and for examples of what we need to be prepared to that challenge.

MINI CASES AND SELECTING ABOUT FAMILY VS JOB

This week we have to analyze mini-cases where you have a situation when you have to decide between your family and job, and my normal duty sense jump, how I could sacrifice that important part for other part. With my job I feed my family, but without family nothing have a sense. In first place I feel sad, because I really thing, I will resolve the problem of the client, without have a importance to the recital, I will go to the next and that´s all. But I think, for my daughter is the most important this moment, and I will lose it. So I think how resolve and prioritize be there, that will be my priority. And in the other way, the same thing. I think every part and pillars of our life are important. No one is separate is an integrate machinery.

Becoming a Change Maker

These week had a great knowledge about how we are really important in this society. We are looking for money and progress, but if we don´t understand our deep meaning in this world, related of our influence in all the fields of our around we are loosing the most important. We are creators of richness, when we build a project, and enterprise, or including collaborating with a job in a company we are generating richness, employment and help to others. That is a great situation. When I help to my enterprise to grow, we are generating new jobs and help families. This week I remember that we need to help others directly, including if I don´t have the best economic situation, there are people with less that us. So share with them all the time is what we need to do. These week let me thing that I need to help directly to more families in my ward. With food and ideas to generate more money. (Self reliance) I learned also about my knowledge and how that will be useful to build a company in the future.

Learning About Relationship in a Job to Our Own Business

I love this week learning, the case of this week makes me think about how this years working in a enterprise helps me to grow and learn every year, every moment to be a better executive in this company. During theses years I learned the keys that these week the case teach us. That is about relationships. The owner of my company first founded with friends, pals that allow support this company with knowledge, Money, and resources and influences. Second he select their team, his heads of every part of the company. I am one of them, the sales chief. So I was since the beginning and I see how he was building this team, every day in a better way. And finally our clients, my chief build a close relationship with our principal client, that sustain all the business. He is real grateful with our company for theses years. That allow that we could survive including in this moments of COVID and this big fall of the economy.

Real Opportunity

I like so much, how this week focus in a new opportunity to increase my capability to reach my goals. We prepare the interview that we do with a mentor or someone that have success in the ambit that we are interested. So, I could found a companion that have a restaurant during a lot of years. He is successful, so it is a great occasion to learn about him. That will be something basic that we need to do all our life, and for this assignment I will learn about this tool in life.

Vision of a Next Future

It is amazing how everything is taking form, today My wife and me are start planning our own business, a restaurant. It was a great message these week for maintain trying and doing our best to reach our goals. That will be very difficult and could be take time and a great effort but we will do it. We are motivated and start to put tasks and dates to this development, these week was decisive to our decision of start. Our principal concern is time, that we actually haven´t, money we could obtain with some adjustments and a little credit. A interesting help that this course tell me was the task to select a mentor that helps me with this business. I have it, and is a great opportunity of have a real coaching and mentoring to don´t fail in this business. It is a very high business, the food business, that was something that told me this entrepreneur but I expect that was better positive in this time that we will start with teaching.

Which of the 7 habits has the most meaning for you? IN this moment "THINK WIN - WIN" normally when I negotiate with a client, normally very difficult aspects that cost me. I feel they try to gain over me and normally I put a little hard. Then they note that and change they posture, to try to convince me. Then I accept. But normally I only think in gain that talk. I still to work in this skill looking another videos that deep that ability. Why will the 7 habits help you fill your life with passion and purpose as you seek to achieve both a private and public victory?do. I practice almost all these habits and my life is living with real passion for my job, my calling and all that I do. I am very proactive, I have to take control of all situation and I reach that thinking what is needed and I do that. Always I put objectives, that objectives guide me and in that way think in the end. Prioritize is an important part, I normally identify priorities and attack that with a list. I try always to listen and understand what is happening before do something. Synergy in a great result to combine talents, so I try to use my team to do that all the time. Sharpen the saw is the important to inspire people that do things for your objective.

These week the lessons makes me think and meditate about important things, I want to share with you a summarize of my insights. I learned a very important things this week. We have to separate the Lord´s time, nothing is most important that our family and build the God´s Kingdom. Never we could said, I can´t accept a calling. If our Lord need us,we have to respond. The time manage is key, priorities are the form to accomplish with the important things. I must have schedules with the family that allows share without other importance. Another important thing is project to be prepared in what we are doing. You are building your life for the next 10 or 20 days. All coincide in one thing that is the key of our life, time. It could be something that touch me because I am really busy all the time. My job demands a lot of time, my calling and the study in BYUI. I sacrificed sleep time a lot, but a lot of times, time with my family. So the importance of my family and how maintain it happy, specially to my wife, she said quality time. But a lot of times my efforts are not totally accuracy, and including sharing my scarce time sometimes receive critics about that. My calling and how serve in the best way to my Father. And finally understand if that my choice is guide me where I want to stay.

These week we learned with the example observed in a case, Erika Mills and her greeting cards business. It is great its Philosophy and idea of business in that Greeting Cards are not only for special moments, but every day for make feel special to someone and make smiles. There are a lot of products and services that are related to a conventional use, or in a conventional time or dates. So, always is important to open minds to multiply your possibilities of sales. Why no waffles to dinner? Or burgers 24/7? Offers to activate other day to the week where people don´t dance or go out. Other important teaching is about quality, where you accomplish with the objective of your service or product you are thinking in quality. When you work thinking in that way every product and service could cause the better experience in the consumer and secure clients.

I love the opportunity that this blog and activity make me have. To realize what are the things not only that I lean about books and authors, but about my self, what I really know about who I am, what I believe, and what are my core values and goals in life. This week I build in one sheet what are the cores values that guide me. And was amazing find me in that way. These are the things that I do in my life, but also that I want to conserve in every decision in my life. I want to share with you that: • Work hard, it is the most important thing that identifies me, always to do the best in my job, to reach my goals. • Find the Excellence; it is so important every day to overcome oneself in a continuous improvement. • Always do the correct, be honest, and keep your integrity. That is so important to be great and be different of the rest. • Think in help others around you, related of your goals, If you want sell more, think this bless a lot of families, or it makes grow that companies and that build jobs for others. • Keep transparent, people could trust in you and in what you say and promise. • My Family is the reason for all that I do. That mark my past, my present, and my future. where I from, where I am, and where I will become.

One of the most important things and that I really appreciate of my 9 years with Telenews, my current job, is that reinforced my capacity of be honest and clear in business. In my country culture is sometimes crooked related to ethic, including trying or thinking in always do the right things, sometimes you could not discern that something is wrong, because the system work in a some way. Normally there are ideas of do things and process that could seams like the best way to reach objectives and make dollars using information that clients to benefit others for example, and if you know that why don´t use it. So, I was the blessing of stay and work with people with a clear eye and principles that predominate every decision and explain me in occasion why that is wrong. In my little industry, with five or six representative contact centers we are the unique that have not problems related to ethics, that stain others but marked differences between who we are and the others. Our clients have a genuine trust in our ethic and transparency, they know that money is secondary for us, it comes in addition of do a good services. Our client including trust in its data bases and all their client´s information, they know we are a correct enterprise. So, there are nothing more important that transparency and ethic.

Why do you think Randy Pausch was able to achieve so many of his childhood dreams? How he said: “It's not about how to achieve your dreams, it's about how to lead your life, ... If you lead your life the right way, the karma will take care of itself, the dreams will come to you.” We must do what we have to do, and them all will happen. It is important dream and think in want we desire. But we have to dream while we are doing things. Do you feel that dreaming is important? Why or why not? Dreaming and all our positive feelings and desires are very important, make possible that our goals come true. I loved this phrase: “The brick walls are there for a reason. The brick walls are not there to keep us out. The brick walls are there to give us a chance to show how badly we want something. Because the brick walls are there to stop the people who don't want it badly enough. And all this capacity of bear what we have face us born in our more powerful dreams. Discuss at least one of your childhood dreams. Explain why you believe you can or cannot achieve this dream. One of my dream was be sealed in the temple and have a eternal family. I am a husband a father of one boy. That is the beginning of my dream. Achieve this goal depend of my wife also, but I could influence in an important way to achieve it.

WEEK 1: Starting the first blog. This week started a new semester; this is the first semester of this 20-20 year. This year is a very special year, because it is the beginning of a new decade, I start this year with 35 years old so, I have until Forty to some important goals, some of them is have my own enterprise. I have an entrepreneur but is only a occasionally of consulting. So this course it is a very important to let me repower my skills. Course “Introduction to Entrepreneurship” will be a great opportunity of potentiate this new stage. I have some important goals that will be possible with the skills that this course will develop. In this week we learn some about what expect of this course, understand that this is not a course to start an entrepreneur; it is a course to be ready to that. The most interesting video was about do what you love. That video teach us that it is important understand what do you want and love in time and not losing a lot of time in another things. For other point I meet some classmates, was very interesting known about them, I know people of my country, Ecuador. And also a classmate that have my same last name, that is not so common so I want to know more about him and his family, could be kindred. So, I have very big spectates to this semester, I expect that could be a very interesting module and let me have a real progress. I expect this blog could be also a great opportunity of organize my experiences.
